How much is the rent?

The rents vary and depend on the location, position and size of the apartment. The more expansive flats are those next to the sea, old town or in newly built buildings.

Considering this, rent may range from 300 to 500 Euro for a size of 35 to 80 square meters without additional cost (water, electricity, internet).

The districts next to the university are Split3 (Smrdečac), Blatine, Trstenik, Firule. Also interesting districts for many students are also Bačvice (famous for its beach and nightclubs), Žnjan (close to the Žnjan beach known for its cleanliness), Lučac and Gripe (close to the old town).

Bus Ticket

A one way bus ticket is 11 kunas (1.44 euro) when you buy it in the bus, and 9 kunas (1.2 euro) when you buy it in the ticket shops.

If one wants to subscribe for a monthly ticket, one must get a confirmation from the medical school proving being a regular student. After this step, one goes to the main bus station (ADDRESS) give this confirmation, fills out a short formula, needs to provide two ID photos and pay the initial cost of 130 kunas (17 euro). From then on, one keeps the card valid by buying a monthly ticket for 70 kunas (9.15 euro) in a kiosk or in a ticket shop. This ticket is valid until the 4th of each month.
